Instructions for MacOS:

  • At the very top of the page, select the desktop app download for your system, MacOS. The download file will process and show at the bottom of your screen.

  • Once the file has completed processing, click to open. A file page will open like this:

  • Click on the Docket app icon and drag into your Applications folder.

  • Double-click on the Applications folder to open your Applications listing. Locate the Docket icon and click to open.

  • A standard safety warning will pop up confirming you wish to open the app downloaded from the Internet. Click to open.

  • The Docket app will open and display on your page. CONGRATS!

Recommendations for using your Docket desktop app on Mac

Here are a few tips on using your new Docket desktop app on Mac:

  • To Refresh the screen: Go to your main machine menu at the top of the screen and click View/Reload. This is useful for when you make any calendar changes and want to see the latest information in Docket.

  • To keep your Docket in your dock: From the Docket app in your system dock, right click, options, and make sure keep in dock is checked.

  • To set your Docket app to autostart on login:

    • Go to your Mac's System Preferences > Users & Groups.

    • Select your user account on the left.

    • Click the toggle on the right called Login Items.

    • Use the + to add a new application to auto-login.

    • Click on the Applications folder

    • Use the search bar to search for Docket.

    • Select the Docket application and click add.

    • Make sure the Hide option is unchecked.

    • Docket will now auto-login and open on your next start.

  • Click on your start menu and start typing "Docket." Or alternatively, click on your start menu, go to all applications, applications starting with D, and locate Docket. Click to open.

Recommendations for using your Docket desktop app on Windows

Here are a few tips on using your new Docket desktop app on Windows:

  • To Refresh the screen: Go to the view menu at the top of the application and click View/Reload. This is useful for when you make any calendar changes and want to see the latest information in Docket.

  • To Pin Docket to your Taskbar: Right click on the Docket icon and select Pin to Taskbar.

General Information

  • Check Docket if you see a red dot | If you see a red dot on the app's icon, Docket is alerting you to an upcoming meeting. The red dot will disappear either once you view the meeting in the Docket app or 5 minutes after the meeting starts.

  • Offline Message | If your internet connection becomes disconnected, you will see your desktop app go offline. You can use the Try Again button to reload the page, use the reload page option from the Docket system menu, and the page will transition from the offline page back to where you were previously when your internet connection comes back online.

  • New Updates | When the Docket app has a new update, this will automatically run when you first open Docket. A pop-up like below will ask you if you wish to run the install of the latest version and restart the Docket app.
